Thank you for volunteering to manage and organize a community event. We appreciate the contributions of our residents in fostering a community of friendship and caring.

Event Expenses – any expenses to support an event need to be reviewed and approved by the board prior to the event. If you are managing an event it would be a good idea to attend the board meetings prior to the event to discuss your needs.

You are the leader – if you have chosen to lead an event the Board will not dictate the day, time, location or activities however, if you do change a scheduled event time or day please contact the Board as quickly as possible so we can update our advertising. Our goal is to have maximum community attendance and this requires maximum time to advertise and notify our community.

You make the event a success – You are required to be present during the event to coordinate and make sure it is successful.

Sponsorship Policy – If you want your personal business to sponsor or host a CCOBNA event:
1. You must be a dues paying member in good standing
2. Your sponsorship needs to support the complete event
3. Advertising materials need to be reviewed and approved before they are posted on CCOBNA sites.

Advertising your event – The Board will assist you with advertising on the website Blog, Facebook, Nextdoor, direct contact with our Newsletter mailing list, and flyers if possible. Please notify the board with the details of you event as early as possible so we can coordinate. Advertising will be reviewed and approved prior to posting.

Please send ALL the details: Date, Time, location, alternate location if needed, brief overview of what will happen, request list if you require participants to bring anything. This will help us with the advertising.
